This is a story about life long friends who over time found their true soulmate in each other. Surrounded by a multitude of many high school friends and family this young couple exchanged vows and rings at a truly elegant and beautiful location. This wedding held a soft spot in my heart as they grew up in Wilbraham and went to the local high school. It was wonderful to see so many friends and acquaintances on this special day. I wish you both many, many years of wedded bliss and as always…..sprinkled with a little fairy dust and a dash magic! Congratulations!

Castle of the Knights, Chicopee / Wedding / Derrek & Alyssa
As I was thinking about how to write this blog I began looking for quotes on love and patience. Alyssa explained to me that she and Derrek had been engaged for quite sometime. It seems that the mantra for the wedding day was “Finally”. I found this little quote which I thought was extremely appropriate and lovely.
“The beauty of marriage is not always seen from the very beginning…but rather as love grows and develops over time.” —Fawn Weaver
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Santucci…..FINALLY:)
Fountain Park, Wilbraham / Wedding / Brian & Jadig
Brian and Jadig got married in a fashion that was both very private and intimate. Surrounded by immediate family and officiated by Brian’s grandfather they said “I Do” in the red barn in Fountain Park. The barn is presently under construction and looks to be a fabulous venue location once it is completed. Both the bride and I fell in love with the rustic charm and unfinished walls while under construction. We couldn’t have asked for a more charming location for this sweet wedding. Many wishes to this young couple as they start their new life together.
Barre, MA / Hartmans Herb Farm / Wedding Katie & Drew
Welcome to Katie & Drew’s blog. I listened to a lot of wonderful comments made about this couple on the day of their marriage. But, I have to say, my impression of this couple began with our engagement session in Old Sturbridge Village this past spring. I met a couple who were kind, considerate, sensitive and genuinely happy. They have a beautiful spiritual connection which is evident in their rapore and mannerisms towards each other. I was blessed to experience their relationships with all the friends and family that they love on their very special day. I feel so humbled to have been a part of such a joyous occasion of two truly unique people. Katie and Drew, you two are what all marriages should be made of. I wish you much love and happiness in the coming years<3
Longmeadow, MA / Twin Hills Country Club / Wedding Jeff & Andrea
It is with great pleasure and happiness that I am able to show case the images from Andrea and Jeff’s wedding. I had asked Jeff and Andrea both what they had found in each other as a life partner. It is with these responses that I write this blog. Jeff was quick to tell me about his grandparents relationship. It was such an ideal and loving relationship it was something Jeff thought he would never be able to find in his life. Then he met Andrea and he just knew he had found…the one! Andrea was given Jeff’s grandmother’s ring to wear as the “something borrowed” part of their wedding. It truly signify’s the ideal that Jeff had always carried in his heart about finding his true soul mate like his grandparents had. Andrea, being more thoughtful, explained, that they have a special kind of connection that is hard to find. Their first dance tells of the feelings that Andrea expressed about Jeff. Who I am With You by Chris Young was that song. “Jeff brings out the best in me and I in him. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.”
Sturbridge, MA /Lake Quacumquasit / Engagement Session / Pino & Bethanne
Welcome to Pino & Bethanne’s engagements session. Bethanne grew up in this vacation home on Quacumquasit Lake in Sturbridge. She spent the summers of her youth in this wonderful location and now spends quality time with the man of her dreams in this same location. They enjoy kayaking, swimming and canoeing on South pond and love getting up in the morning to this view and their morning coffee on the deck. A totally relaxing way to start off your day if I do say so myself!
Simsbury, CT / Hop Meadow Country Club / Wedding Joanna & Ivan
Welcome to Joanna & Ivan’s wedding blog. It is with great pleasure that I am able to write this blog so quickly after their wedding. I began as a film and slide photographer in the early years of my career which affords me the luxury of “getting it right in the camera”. My editing is already complete without spending countless hours in front of the computer. Phew, I would much rather be behind my camera working with my next client than in my office looking at a monitor. So, our story begins…. It was a beautiful day this past Saturday for a wedding. It was not too warm or humid which is a rare luxury for July in New England. The bride was beautiful and the groom so dashing. Their wedding sermon focused on love and respect for which this couple are truly a role model. The love and friendship they displayed towards their friends and family was evident in the images taken that day. I feel so very blessed to have been a small part of their spectacular day. Enjoy their love story and fairy tale wedding.
Wilbraham, MA / Engagement Session / Drew & Stephanie
There is one friend in the life of each of us who seems not a separate person, however dear and beloved, but an expansion, an interpretation, of one’s self, the very meaning of one’s soul. ~Edith Wharton
I had the privileged of photographing Stephanie & Drew’s engagement session this past weekend while they were home on a short break from Indiana. Both born and raised in Wilbraham, MA they went to Minnechaug Regional High School together as well as The University of Mass in Amherst. I asked them how long they had been dating and was so nicely surprised to be told, ” since seventh grade”. What a marvelous friendship they have woven for themselves which is why I felt the need to have a quote to start this blog. It surely describes the relationship they share as a couple. Nothing mushy or overbearing but a profound sense of friendship and connection. The wedding is sure to be a truly wonderful unity of friendship and love.
Springfield, MA / Forest Park / Cassandra & Nathan Engagement Session
I met Cassandra and Nathan recently in a coffee shop in Connecticut, It’s a Grind, to discuss their wedding photography. The contact came through a wedding referral site online called Thumbtack. I was so thrilled to be chosen as their photographer after that meeting. I always find it amazing how I can feel an instant connection with some clients. It was definitely one of those moments. We scheduled our engagement session at Forest Park in Springfield. I wasn’t sure if the weather would cooperate but living in new England and being used to unpredictable weather issues we gave it a shot. We beat the rain and had a fabulous shoot. I wanted to find some more remote areas in Forest Park and I believe we did just that. I might also add I just absolutely adore working with engaged couples. I love to see the interactions that I capture on film and the love and friendship that is always so evident. Who said “fairy tales don’t exist”? Not me, I live and breathe it everyday in a career I absolutely love!
Sturbridge, MA / Old Sturbridge Village / Engagement Session Katie & Drew
Katie & Drew set up their engagement session for April 27th assuming it would be bright , colorful and warm. Isn’t it warm in almost May in New England? Our date was a little on the cool side with minimal color due to the late spring this year. We chose a location that color wouldn’t make a huge difference. Kate and Drew picked Old Sturbridge Village which is a personal favorite of mine. I was so excited to photograph in a place I loved with a wonderful couple. We spent a couple hours walking around the village and stopping to play and create when the mood struck us. Katie and Drew danced in the field, chopped wood and even recreated a famous country classic image. They ended in a favorite building of Drew’s with wonderful window light. A truly romantic spot to end our day! Drew’s grandmother worked in the village so this location was a perfect choice to tell their love story. They were an amazing couple to photograph with such spunk and vitality and obviously very much in love. It was pure pleasure working with them. I can’t wait for the wedding.
