Abbie & Vince met at Westfield State College in a Shakespeare English class. Neither was too fond of that particular class and formed an immediate bond. The relationship progressed as friends due to the fact that Abbie did not want to date someone from another country. I guess the distance really did not appeal to her as Vince was a resident of Canada. But alas, Vince persevered. He continued to ask Abbie out until he got the answer he was looking for. Yes, I will date you. She explained the reason for her decision to him about distance being a problem and the complications that would arise from a long distance relationship. His response which was incredibly sweet and all the words Abbie needed to hear ” I’m not dating you to date you. I want to date you to keep you” Abbie felt like home to Vince and Abbie certainly found her home and future with Vince. The couple is moving to Tennessee where Vince will be skating with the Knoxville Ice Bears. Abbie is a licensed teacher and will look at pursuing her career in the future. An August 2015 wedding is planned for this very sweet couple.
Sheila & Marquis came to me through a referral site I use on the internet called Thumbtack. It was a true blessing to meet them both because they honestly give me the best laughs possible and are such a sweet couple. I truly can’t wait for the wedding. They also bring Sheila’s dad to all the meetings we have had and he was my light helper at our recent engagement session. Thanks Dad for working with me! You were a trouper. And to Sheila’s sister and boyfriend, you helped as well carrying “my stuff”. Thank you , thank you!!! I hope you all had fun as well and learned a thing or two:)
I met Cassandra and Nathan recently in a coffee shop in Connecticut, It’s a Grind, to discuss their wedding photography. The contact came through a wedding referral site online called Thumbtack. I was so thrilled to be chosen as their photographer after that meeting. I always find it amazing how I can feel an instant connection with some clients. It was definitely one of those moments. We scheduled our engagement session at Forest Park in Springfield. I wasn’t sure if the weather would cooperate but living in new England and being used to unpredictable weather issues we gave it a shot. We beat the rain and had a fabulous shoot. I wanted to find some more remote areas in Forest Park and I believe we did just that. I might also add I just absolutely adore working with engaged couples. I love to see the interactions that I capture on film and the love and friendship that is always so evident. Who said “fairy tales don’t exist”? Not me, I live and breathe it everyday in a career I absolutely love!
