There is always a little something magical about a snowfall. Lindsay wished for a little snow for her wedding day this past Saturday. I was so excited when I heard the upcoming forecast which predicted just that. How perfect can it get? Snow for a January wedding. Just what every girl who plans a winter wedding desires. I was so disappointed for Chris and Lindsay when I woke up on the morning of the 3rd expecting to see a dusting of snow and saw grass. Well, I figure, we live in New England, and yes, anything is possible with the weather! We began our wedding at Wisteriahurst Museum and lo and behold all the little angels began working their magic and it began snowing right after the ceremony. Congratulations Chris and Lindsay. May the magic of every snowfall touch your lives and hearts!
What a beautiful day for a wedding this past Saturday. The sky was blue with puffy cotton candy clouds, not a drop of rain in sight. We experienced unbelievably gorgeous dry weather for an early August wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a more spectacular day. Pino & Beth joined hands and hearts at Saint Cecilia church in Wilbraham. The church lifted in song and love for this intimate ceremony. Pino and Beth enjoyed a wonderful gathering at The Wilbraham Country Club. We got to even drive a few golf carts for our tour around the Tees. Enjoy their images as they tell the story of this wonderful couples day.
Marcie & Chris had originally wanted a camp ground wedding. Unfortunately, the venue had a bit of a scheduling issue so they chose to settle on a rustic wedding in Sturbridge, MA in February. I did have someone ask if they were planning a February wedding at the camp ground. That was a bit of a chuckle and no, it was scheduled for a warmer New England tempeture! Marcie & Chris traveled from Rhode Island to celebrate their union with family and friends. Little did they expect their day to turn into a full blown snow storm. But the storm did not stop their enthusiasm. It was so fun to have a couple want to photograph their wedding pictures while the snow was still falling. Falling, falling, falling:) We went outside on several occasions and I truly enjoyed every time we went out into the snow. What a fabulous, kicked back couple. I enjoyed every moment of their wedding day; the friends, the family, the snow…loved it all<3. My congratulations to you both. Enjoy the magic that the winter storm delivered to you on your wedding day. I also wish you many, many years of blessings and continued happiness
I would like to begin my post with the wording I used for Heather & Gile’s sneak peek on facebook.
I keep hearing these words over and over in my head…Must have read them somewhere. They totally remind me of you both! …”Every once in a while your prince comes along and you are living your fairy tale” ….What a beautiful couple! So full of love & Friendship. You totally have what dreams are made of:)
It was such a spectacular day. A gorgeous location, just my style, Victorian furniture and coloring…lovely! And the weather, no one could have asked for better color and temperatures. Absolutely perfect. And did Heather look like a princess? I will let you be the judge but I would have to say a 100% YES. And Giles, always the gentleman, on his wedding day, the handsomest Prince at The Yankee Pedlar. Enjoy the happily ever after fairy tale wedding of this fabulous Couple.
What a wonderful story I have to share with my readers. I met Liz on a beautiful spring day this past year. I immediately felt a sense of connection with her and booked her wedding on the spot. I couldn’t have been more thrilled. The wedding was a beautiful affair with lots of fabulous family, food and friends. My bride and groom couldn’t have been more radiant. I asked Liz for a special blurb to add to her blog. My heart melted with the beautiful words and story she sent to me. I had asked her, ” why after sixteen years she chose to get married”. Here is her response. Tony has been by my side through the good and tough times in my life, especially when I lost my parents. We are each others rock. I decided years ago that marriage was not for me, but he managed to change my mind. He placed my engagement ring around my little Chihuahua’s neck with a purple ribbon and I couldn’t say no! For better or worse we continue to love each other day after day. He has such a caring and gentle heart. My soulmate for life…..Watch their wedding unfold as I take you on the journey to, happily ever after.
