Grow with Me Baby Plan

I haven’t done a baby blog in quite some time so thought it only appropriate to post a few images from the last year to highlight my baby plan.  I am having such a ball with the little ones.  I love when they come to me as a tiny little newborn and progress to the one year old and toddler stages.  It is so exciting to see the growth and charming little personalities evolve over this time. I know I have mentioned before the three images I  have posted of my children when they were quite young.  They aren’t  perfectly posed pictures; they are the pictures that show the personalities of each of my children at that particular point in time.  When I stop to look and actually reflect on those images, it’s funny, they still to this day have those same personality traits that I captured so long ago in those images.

Babies are such an amazing gift and becoming a parent regardless of whether it’s for the first or sixth time, is one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences of one’s life. Although it isn’t quite possible to sum up the joy of a baby in several words, many of these images do a great job in summarizing some of the personalities I aspire to capture of your little ones.

Springfield, MA / Forest Park / Sheila & Marquis Engagement Session

Sheila & Marquis came to me through a referral site I use on the internet called Thumbtack.  It was a true blessing to meet them both because they honestly give me the best laughs possible and are such a sweet couple.  I truly can’t wait for the wedding.  They also bring Sheila’s dad to all the meetings we have had and he was my light helper at our recent engagement session.  Thanks Dad for working with me! You were a trouper.  And to Sheila’s sister and boyfriend, you helped as well carrying “my stuff”.  Thank you , thank you!!! I hope you all had fun as well and learned a thing or two:)

Sturbridge, MA / Old Sturbridge Village / Engagement Session Katie & Drew

Katie & Drew set up their engagement session for April 27th assuming it would be bright , colorful and warm.  Isn’t it warm in almost May in New England? Our date was a little on the cool side with minimal color due to the late spring this year.  We chose a location that color wouldn’t make a huge difference.  Kate and Drew picked Old Sturbridge Village which is a personal favorite of mine.  I was so excited to photograph in a place I loved with a wonderful couple.  We spent a couple hours walking around the village and stopping to play and create when the mood struck us.  Katie and Drew danced in the field, chopped wood and even recreated a famous country classic image.  They ended in a favorite building of Drew’s with wonderful window light. A truly romantic spot to end our day! Drew’s grandmother worked in the village so this location was a perfect choice to tell their love story.  They were an amazing couple to photograph with such spunk and vitality and obviously very much in love.  It was pure pleasure working with them.  I can’t wait for the wedding.2014-04-28_0001IMG_0004IMG_00242014-04-28_0003IMG_0206IMG_0066IMG_0078IMG_0048IMG_0046IMG_00442014-04-28_0001IMG_0096BIMG_01062014-04-28_0007IMG_0195IMG_0196IMG_0197IMG_00422014-04-28_0009IMG_0207IMG_0221CIMG_0211IMG_0218IMG_3965
